How the Trust Score works

The SiteCert Trust Score converts measurable website trust signals into a clear 0–100 rating. Category results are combined according to the weights above.

The score cannot be purchased or manually upgraded.

Detailed check-level criteria will be published as the SiteCert Trust Standard is finalized.

  • 90–100Excellent
  • 80–89Very Good
  • 70–79Good
  • 60–69Fair
  • 0–59Needs Improvement
  • A lower score means fewer measurable trust signals were found — not that a website is fraudulent or unsafe.

How SiteCert Verified works

The SiteCert Verified badge is dynamically connected to SiteCert.eu, so visitors can verify that the status is current and authentic.

  • Ongoing monitoring

SiteCert evaluates defined public trust signals. It does not guarantee:

  • Complete cybersecurity
  • Absence of vulnerabilities
  • Company legitimacy in all circumstances
  • Future business behavior
  • Legal compliance in every jurisdiction
SiteCert verification reflects the criteria assessed at the time of the latest scan and does not guarantee the security, legitimacy or future conduct of a business.
